"One paw at a time"
WHY ME
The passion behind Gray’s K9 Academy kicked off when I was just 14. My family was diving into socializing and obedience classes with our two dogs, and I ended up tagging along. Little did I know, I’d get totally hooked. Local trainers spotted my enthusiasm and offered me a weekend gig helping out. What started as a way to earn some pocket money quickly snowballed into a full-blown passion (and a career, but let’s not jump ahead).
Fast forward a few years, and I found myself serving in the Air Force with Squadron 19, where I got to work alongside the K9 training unit. In my free time (yes, that existed!),
I volunteered, trained, and learned the ropes—from puppy training to search and rescue, and even security. It was during those years that I knew for sure: helping dogs and their humans live their best lives was my calling.
Fast forward again, and Gray's K9 Academy was born. Today, it’s more than just a training school—it’s a place where dogs and their owners learn, grow, and laugh together (because training should always include a little fun, right?).

EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
With hands-on experience in training and behavior modification, I work with all kinds of dogs, from energetic puppies to rescues with complex behavioral issues. My background includes training with military K9 unit, search and rescue dogs, and volunteer work at top animal rescue organizations. I bring this wealth of experience to every session, ensuring your dog receives the best possible care and training.
SMALL GROUP CLASSES & 1 ON 1 TRAINING
I offer both small group sessions for puppies, older dogs, and rescues, as well as private one-on-one lessons tailored to your dog’s specific needs. Group classes encourage socialization and provide a fun, engaging environment, while private lessons allow us to focus on individual challenges.
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT APPROACH

I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement techniques. This method encourages good behavior by rewarding your dog with treats, praise, and playtime, making training fun and effective for both of you. Positive reinforcement is proven to be more successful in fostering lasting behavioral change and builds a stronger bond of trust and respect between you and your dog.
TAILORED TRAINING PROGRAMES

No two dogs are alike, and that’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your dog is a puppy in need of socialization or an older dog that requires behavior modification, I create a customized plan that addresses their specific needs and your goals as an owner.
